Makkah Al-Mukarramah:
In the presence of His Excellency the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Museums and Exhibitions of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization, and Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, the Muslim World League signed an agreement with the Clock Towers in Makkah Al-Mukarramah to cooperate in scientific and civilizational fields, foremost among them highlighting the noble themes of the Prophet’s Biography and the rich Islamic civilization. This will be achieved through various means, including technological displays, museum exhibits, atlases, models, artifacts, and publications in multiple global languages.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the League by His Excellency the Executive Affairs Deputy, Mr. Naif Al-Sharif, and on behalf of the Clock Towers by His Excellency the CEO, Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Mousa.
His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa stated that this agreement builds on the scientific and documentary content possessed by the Muslim World League, presented through advanced modern displays supported by distinguished expertise. This expertise has extended to unique global activities in exhibitions and museums dedicated to serving the noble Prophet’s Biography and the illustrious Islamic history, emanating from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia—the heart of Islam and the custodian of its holy sites, where the Two Holy Mosques in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Madinah Al-Munawwarah form the core of this strong launch for these international museums and exhibitions. Notably, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia holds the documentary and exclusive source for the events of Islamic history in its most important and prominent chapters.
His Excellency added that this cooperation aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, which places great emphasis on enriching the faith-based motivation of pilgrims, Umrah performers, and visitors. This includes introducing them to the noble Prophet’s Biography and the rich Islamic civilization. Sheikh Mohammed Al-Issa further clarified that this cooperation also aims to highlight a significant example of the historical and exceptional efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in serving Islamic affairs in general and these spiritual and scientific themes in particular. This reaffirms the well-deserved and firmly established honor undertaken by the Kingdom in serving Islam and Muslims under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (may God protect him), and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz (may God protect him). This showcases the pure image of our religion and its moderate approach through a comprehensive and documented introduction to the biography of our Prophet (peace be upon him), foremost among which is his noble character and wise, tolerant legislation—all presented through comprehensive and documented encyclopedias under the slogan: "The Prophet’s Biography as if You Are Living It." These efforts emanate from the vicinity of the Ancient House, the revelation’s descent and the cradle of Islam, as well as from Madinah Al-Munawwarah, the city of the Chosen Prophet (peace be upon him) and his migration destination.
