His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Madinah Region and Chairman of the Madinah Region Development Authority, praised the message and objectives of the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization, which is managed and operated by the Muslim World League with the support and empowerment of the Madinah Region Development Authority. This initiative aligns with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals of enriching visitor and resident experiences and creating attractive cultural landmarks.

During his inauguration of the exhibition’s main headquarters in Madinah, HRH commended the advanced technologies and museum halls within the exhibition, which serves as the foundational hub for a series of Islamic museums planned to be launched under the Muslim World League in several global capitals.

HRH stated that the exhibition’s contents and artifacts represent a historical legacy aimed at disseminating the noble Prophetic methodology and the fragrant biography of the Chosen One (peace be upon him) worldwide, highlighting the tolerance and moderation of Islam.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League and Chairman of the Union of Muslim Scholars, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa; the Imam and Khateeb of the Grand Mosque, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid; a number of esteemed imams of the Prophet’s Mosque; and His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Madinah Region and CEO of the Madinah Region Development Authority, Engineer Fahd bin Mohammed Al-Belaihshi.

Following the ceremony, HRH toured the new exhibition and museum, located near the Prophet’s Mosque, and listened to a detailed explanation of the comprehensive services provided to residents and visitors through an integrated scientific and technological platform. This platform offers the most extensive and precise modern display methods to convey the message of Islam, its merciful teachings, and the beauty of the faith as a civilizational, human, and spiritual message.

HRH also explored the exhibition’s multiple pavilions, which showcase landmarks from the life of the Prophet (peace be upon him) in Makkah and Madinah, utilizing innovative technologies to introduce all the Prophets and creatively display the Madinah Charter and the Makkah Declaration. Additionally, he reviewed the Kingdom’s efforts in serving the Holy Quran and the noble Sunnah.

During the tour, HRH inaugurated the exhibition’s main screen, located opposite the southern square of the Prophet’s Mosque, which broadcasts the marvels of the Holy Quran and Sunnah for the benefit of Madinah’s visitors. HRH also inspected the royal reception hall for official state delegations, equipped with cutting-edge technologies—including VR and 3D displays—that immerse visitors in the dimensions of the Prophetic biography and historical scenes.

The exhibition, featuring 25 main pavilions, presents the message of Islam through justice, peace, mercy, tolerance, and moderation, drawing from the Holy Quran, the Prophet’s biography (peace be upon him), and Islamic history. It employs 350 educational methods and tools, along with 150 proofs of Islam’s greatness and its protection of non-Muslims' rights, in addition to displaying over 500 artifacts made as replicas of objects believed to be used in the Prophetic era.

The exhibition also includes a first-of-its-kind cinema hall, presenting the noble Prophetic biography through a specialized series of documentary films with verified scholarly content. This allows visitors to simulate the reality of the Prophet’s life in full detail and interact with it, facilitating a transformative journey from the modern era to the Prophetic age using the latest visual display technologies.

In his remarks, His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League and Chairman of the Union of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, expressed his gratitude to HRH the Governor of Madinah for his support of this new cultural landmark, which translates one of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 objectives under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz—may Allah protect them.

He noted that the exhibition serves as the nucleus and headquarters for future museums of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization, which the League plans to establish in several Muslim and non-Muslim countries. He emphasized that these projects hold significant priority within the League’s initiatives to serve Islam and Muslims.

Dr. Al-Issa highlighted that the exhibition has received recognition from leading Islamic scholars, including members of the Council of Senior Scholars in the Kingdom. He pointed out that the museum disseminates the biography of the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him) and Islamic civilization, emphasizing the civilizational values enshrined in the Madinah Charter, which established principles of brotherhood and human coexistence. He expressed his aspirations that such museums will play a pivotal role in spreading awareness within and beyond the Islamic world, starting from their headquarters in Madinah—the heart of moderation and Islamic leadership in Saudi Arabia.
