Monday, August 22, 2022 - the Chief of Staff of the Bangladesh Navy, General Muhammad Shaheen Iqbal, and the delegation accompanying him, visited the headquarters of the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization in Medina, under the supervision of the Muslim World League, which enjoys the patronage, interest, and direct supervision of His Excellency its Secretary, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa.
During his tour, General Iqbal, Chief of Naval Staff of the Bangladesh Armed Forces, explored the exhibition halls beginning with the "Greetings to Allah, Lord of Praise and Glory" section, followed by the "Prophets (peace be upon them) As If You See Them" pavilion, the "Prophet (peace be upon him) As If You Were With Him" experience, and the "Women and Children in Islam" exhibit. He also examined the advanced civilizational models, modern atlases, and authenticated encyclopedias.
In an official statement, the Admiral remarked: "I extend my deepest gratitude for this extraordinary visit. This meticulously crafted scholarly work represents a monumental achievement and stands among the finest Islamic historical exhibitions I've ever witnessed. The technological encyclopedics of the Prophet's biography I observed today are exceptionally preserved and organized. I hope this unique content becomes accessible worldwide, including to non-Muslim audiences, to showcase Islam in its true, beautiful form."
Concluding his visit, he emphasized: "I wish this international exhibition continued success and global expansion. Should there be any contribution we can make from Bangladesh to support this remarkable initiative, we stand ready to participate in this noble endeavor."
