Wednesday, August 17, 2022 - His Excellency Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the delegation accompanying him, visited the headquarters of the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization in Medina, under the supervision of the Muslim World League, under the patronage, interest and direct supervision of His Excellency its Secretary, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa.
During the tour, President Mirziyoyev explored the exhibition halls, beginning with the "Greetings to Allah, Lord of Praise and Glory" section, followed by the "Prophets (peace be upon them) As If You See Them" pavilion, the "Prophet (peace be upon him) As If You Were With Him" experience, and the "Women and Children in Islam" exhibit. The President was accompanied by the Director General of the Royal Protocol Office in Madinah, Ibrahim bin Abdullah Bari, and the Secretary-General of the International Exhibitions and Museums of the Prophet's Biography and Islamic Civilization, Sheikh Dr. Nasser bin Musfer Al-Qurashi Al-Zahrani. The delegation witnessed interactive displays showcasing the noble biography of the Prophet (peace be upon him), including diverse models of Makkah and Madinah, the Hijrah route, educational atlases, maps, and cutting-edge technologies such as interactive screens, VR experiences, and 3D presentations.
As the flagship hub for future museums of the Prophet's Biography and Islamic Civilization, this institution represents the Muslim World League's vision to establish similar museums in Muslim and non-Muslim countries. Equipped with state-of-the-art technologies, it allows visitors to experience the Prophetic biography through virtual reality and three-dimensional displays. These immersive technologies vividly portray historical landmarks and artifacts from the Prophet's life (peace be upon him) in seven languages: Arabic, English, Spanish, Urdu, French, Turkish, and Indonesian.
The exhibition, which includes 25 main pavilions, is concerned with presenting the message of Islam, represented by justice, peace, mercy, tolerance and moderation, based on the Holy Qur’an, the biography of the Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, and the luminous Islamic history. It relies on 350 pedagogical methods and teaching methods, in addition to 150 evidence of the greatness of Islam and preserving the rights of non-Muslims, in addition to displaying more than 500 pieces of artifacts and museums from the Prophet’s era.
