Today, Tuesday, July 19, 2022 - Lieutenant General Echo Mar Giuno, Chief of the General Staff of the Indonesian Armed Forces, visited the headquarters of the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization in Medina, under the supervision of the Muslim World League, under the patronage, interest and direct supervision of His Excellency its Secretary, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa.
During the tour, General Perkasa explored the exhibition halls, beginning with the "Greetings to Allah, Lord of Praise and Glory" section, followed by the "Prophets (peace be upon them) As If You See Them" pavilion, the "Prophet (peace be upon him) As If You Were With Him" experience, and the "Women and Children in Islam" exhibit. He also examined the advanced civilizational models, modern atlases, and peer-reviewed encyclopedias.
In a recorded statement, the General expressed his admiration: "First, I would like to thank the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet's Biography and Islamic Civilization. This is my first visit to this captivating cultural museum, and I am personally deeply impressed by the tremendous efforts, cutting-edge technologies, innovative presentation methods, and exclusive encyclopedias in this meticulously crafted exhibition. What makes this monumental encyclopedic work exceptional is its accessibility for both current and future generations. Anyone can now understand Islam correctly through verified references—only authentic Hadiths and the Holy Quran—and learn about the life of the great Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) using the latest technologies and best methodologies."
He concluded by stating: “Truthfully, the Indonesian people and the Muslim Ummah urgently need such global exhibitions. We hope to see this outstanding scholarly achievement established in all Islamic countries, so we may study the life of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and derive from it lessons of peace, love, dialogue, coexistence, mercy, and humanity. I reiterate my gratitude to His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, for this great scholarly achievement, which will serve as a beacon of goodness, love, and peace.”
