Wednesday, July 6, 2022 - His Excellency Dr. Ma’ruf Amin, Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, and the delegation accompanying him, visited the headquarters of the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization in Madinah under the supervision of the Muslim World League, with the direct patronage and oversight of the Secretary-General, His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa.
During the tour, His Excellency explored the exhibition halls, beginning with the "Greetings to Allah, Lord of Praise and Glory" section, followed by the "Prophets (peace be upon them) As If You See Them" pavilion, the "Prophet (peace be upon him) As If You Were With Him" section, and the "Women and Children" exhibit. He also examined the advanced civilizational models, modern atlases, and peer-reviewed encyclopedias.
Deeply impressed by this civilizational achievement, His Excellency stated in a recorded address: "I am truly delighted on this blessed evening to have visited the International Exhibition and Museum of the Prophet's Biography and Islamic Civilization and learned about the life of the Messenger (peace be upon him) from his birth to his passing. This monumental work displayed in this museum is, I believe, something innovative and unprecedented in the world. I am particularly moved to learn about the 17-year scholarly effort behind these comprehensive materials—this represents an extraordinary journey. Witnessing the noble Prophetic biography presented through such engaging modern displays, especially the exhibition on his migration (peace be upon him) from Makkah to Madinah, has deeply affected me. This was a sacred journey, one filled with patience and perseverance."
Concluding his remarks, he emphasized: "This grand institution will have tremendous impact, particularly for Muslims to properly understand and appreciate the Prophet's (peace be upon him) efforts in delivering the eternal message. I hope this scholarly work won't remain exclusive to Madinah but can be shared with other nations, including Indonesia. We would welcome cinematic presentations of the Prophetic biography beyond the current visual displays, to comprehensively showcase Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) legacy through innovative methods that touch viewers' hearts. I know with certainty that the Muslim world yearns for such noble initiatives."
