Monday, May 30, 2022 – A distinguished delegation led by Her Excellency Ms. Puan Maharani, Speaker of the Indonesian Parliament, visited the headquarters of the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet's Biography and Islamic Civilization in Madinah, held under the supervision of the Muslim World League, with the gracious patronage and direct oversight of His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (may Allah preserve him).
The honorable delegation toured the exhibition halls, beginning with the "Greetings to Allah, Lord of Praise and Glory" section, proceeding through the "Prophets (peace be upon them) As If You See Them" pavilion, the "Prophet (peace be upon him) As If You Were With Him" section, and the "Women and Children" exhibit. The delegation also examined the advanced civilizational models, modern atlases, and peer-reviewed encyclopedias.
In her remarks, the Speaker of Parliament stated: "Allah has honored us with this visit to Madinah and to the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization of the Prophet's Biography and Islamic Civilization. We witnessed the true depiction of the Prophet's (peace be upon him) life from his birth to his passing in Makkah and Madinah, and explored the extensive encyclopedias documenting the life of the best of mankind, our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)."
She concluded by saying: "I extend my highest congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and his loyal Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz (may Allah preserve them) for their noble services to Islam and Muslims. I must also note that Indonesian-Saudi relations are strong, by Allah's grace, and we seek to further strengthen them by bringing this exceptional global museum to Indonesia. We hope this great scholarly work can soon be established in Indonesia, allowing us to present—through these academic encyclopedias and advanced displays—only the authentic teachings our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) conveyed about tolerance, Islam's moderate essence, and the honored status and rights Islam guarantees women. I must also thank His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, for this captivating civilizational project."
