Sunday, July 17, 2022 - His Eminence Dr. Muhammad Abd al-Rahman al-Duwaini, Deputy of Al-Azhar, Egypt, visited the headquarters of the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization in Medina, under the supervision of the Muslim World League, with the patronage, interest and direct supervision of His Excellency its Secretary, Dr. Muhammad bin Abd al-Karim al-Issa.

During his tour, His Excellency explored the exhibition halls, beginning with the "Greetings to Allah, Lord of Praise and Glory" section, followed by the "Prophets (peace be upon them) As If You See Them" pavilion, the "Prophet (peace be upon him) As If You Were With Him" section, and the "Women and Children" exhibit. He also examined the advanced civilizational models, modern atlases, and peer-reviewed encyclopedias.

Deeply impressed by this civilizational achievement, he stated in a recorded address: "On this blessed day, I am honored and delighted to visit the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization. After touring this meticulously crafted scholarly landmark, I have gained a profound appreciation for the tremendous efforts invested in presenting this magnificent portrayal of the life of the noblest of creation, Muhammad (peace be upon him). This achievement reflects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s commitment to moderation and balance, offering a clear and honest depiction of this great religion that calls for noble morals. It takes pride in its values derived from Islam, which advocates peace and rejects all forms of violence and extremism. Through this grand scholarly exhibition, the Kingdom has created an oasis that attracts people of all languages, cultures, and even followers of other faiths. Visitors can explore this civilizational landmark and leave with a clear understanding of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and the teachings of Islam—a religion that promotes peace, love, compassion, cooperation, and the elevation of humanity. It emphasizes human dignity, rights, and responsibilities as outlined in the Quran and Sunnah centuries before they were codified in modern constitutions and international organizations."

He concluded by saying: "I pray to Allah the Almighty to bless these efforts and record them among your good deeds. Truly, I am immensely pleased with these blessed endeavors carried out by the Muslim World League under the supervision of His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa—may Allah bless him. I also extend my deepest gratitude to the leadership of Saudi Arabia for their outstanding efforts in bringing this exceptional encyclopedic project to life. This is the role we all hope and expect from the Kingdom. From this specialized tour through the Prophet’s biography, I have learned more than I have from the books I studied and read. What stands out is the revolution in verification, visual presentations, and authenticated encyclopedias. At Al-Azhar, we deeply value the contributions of this monumental scholarly work."
