His Excellency President Bassirou Diomaye Faye of Senegal inaugurated the International Exhibition and Museum of the Prophet's Biography and Islamic Civilization in Dakar, under the supervision of the Muslim World League. The ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Senegal, Saad bin Abdullah Al-Nufai'i, and hosted by Dr. Nasser bin Musfar Al-Zahrani, Chairman of the Board of the International Museums of the Prophet's Biography.

President Faye toured the museum's innovative pavilions featuring modern display technologies that allow visitors to interactively explore detailed aspects of the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) in three languages: Arabic, French, and Wolof.

The museum includes sections documenting the history of Makkah and Madinah during the Prophet's era, along with authentic historical displays of the Sacred Chamber and models depicting pivotal moments in Islamic history.

The President officially announced the museum's opening to visitors, marking it as a pioneering cultural project in Senegal aimed at enhancing cultural and religious tourism. The museum serves as an important destination for both Muslims and non-Muslims, introducing visitors from around the world to the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

President Faye emphasized the museum's role in promoting accurate understanding of Islam, noting that this project represents a significant cultural addition to Senegal and the region, providing authentic knowledge about the Prophet's biography. He praised the museum's scholarly content and peer-reviewed research that corrects misconceptions about Islam, affirming it as a religion of tolerance and moderation.

The President expressed gratitude to King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (may God preserve them) for this blessed project, appreciating the strong bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Senegal.

Dr. Al-Zahrani noted that the museum features over twenty diverse pavilions offering innovative presentations of the Prophet's life, with interactive elements that enrich the visitor experience.
These international museums of the Prophet's Biography and Islamic Civilization - with permanent and traveling branches supervised by the Muslim World League under the guidance of its Secretary-General Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa - represent an unprecedented initiative in presenting Islamic history. They combine authenticated scholarly sources, peer-reviewed research, and state-of-the-art display technologies to educate global visitors about Islamic values while countering misconceptions.
