His Excellency President Adama Barrow of the Republic of The Gambia visited yesterday evening the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet's Biography and Islamic Civilization in Madinah, under the supervision of the Muslim World League.
Upon his arrival, President Barrow was received by His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League. During the visit, the Gambian President explored interactive 3D models of Makkah and Madinah during the Prophet's era (PBUH), enhanced with cutting-edge digital mapping technology as well as the advanced technical museum exhibition hall, noting that exhibition's pavilions feature state-of-the-art interactive displays and innovative technological installations.
President Barrow's Remarks:
The Gambian leader praised the exhibition's immersive experience, stating: "This global museum plays a vital role in promoting the Prophet's biography (PBUH) and presenting Islam's true, enlightened message to the world."
Secretary-General Al-Issa's Statement:
His Excellency Dr. Al-Issa emphasized: "This exhibition reflects Islam's essence as a religion of peace. Saudi Arabia, as the birthplace of the divine message and cradle of Islamic civilization, continues its historic mission of sharing Islam's universal values with humanity."
